Bubba Watson fought a losing battle against Mother Nature on the 11th hole at Augusta National.
Watson bogeyed the 11th hole Thursday in the opening round of the Masters because the wind didn’t cooperate with his putt for par. The two-time Masters champion wasn’t happy, evidenced by him staring around in disbelief immediately after his short putt hooked to the left of the hole.

Watson finished Round 1 with a 3-over-par 75. The missed putt on hole No. 11 obviously contributed to that lackluster score, but things could be worse.
Just ask Ernie Els, whose round began in the worst way imaginable.
