Let’s face it: The Los Angeles Lakers have had a very bad season of basketball playing.
The Lakers’ season (and Kobe Bryant’s career) comes to a merciful end Wednesday night against the Utah Jazz.
A loss to the Jazz would mean the Lakers would finish the season 50 games below .500. L.A. already suffered its worst defeat in franchise history this season, and there’s been no shortage of off-court drama, highlighted by the ridiculous fiasco centering around Nick Young and D’Angelo Russell.
Other than all that, though, it’s been a fine season.
Some Internet hero had a little fun with the Lakers’ season by creating a highlight montage set to “One Shining Moment,” a spoof on the annual NCAA Tournament highlight package.
It’s pretty darn hilarious.
