Red Sox Certainly Will Feel Energy Of Fans In Home Opener Vs. Orioles

The Boston Red Sox are coming home.

It’s been a while since many of the Red Sox players and coaches have been at Fenway Park, but that will change Monday when Boston opens its home schedule against the Baltimore Orioles.

“Tomorrow will be a great day — it always is,” manager John Farrell said on “Red Sox Gameday Live” ahead of Sunday’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays. “We’ll certainly feel the energy of coming off the road and getting back in front of our fans at Fenway. I think guys are just looking forward to getting a little bit settled, too. It’s been 11 or 12 days that we’ve been out, but it’s been a productive trip thus far.”
