It’s entirely possible Greg Hardy has played his final snap in the NFL.
That, of course, is if you believe a new report from ESPN’s Ed Werder, who polled several NFL general managers and discovered there to be virtually no interest in the talented, yet beleaguered defensive end.
Solicited #NFL GMs on Greg Hardy. Most praised @RosenhausSports for his efforts. But prevailing opinion: "Greg Hardy? Nobody wants him.''

Another GM on Hardy said ownership would be involved. "Maybe…Many will probably steer clear to err on the safe side."

Third GM on Greg Hardy: "Going to be a very hard sell moving forward. There's too much of an allusion towards cleaning up for sake of sale."

Fourth GM on Rosenhaus making therapy records avail and Hardy: "He's still toxic. And obviously desperate and saying the right things.''

Hardy was suspended four games (reduced from 10) last season after an investigation into accusations that he assaulted his girlfriend in 2014 while with the Carolina Panthers. The details of the alleged assault were horrifying.
Hardy, who signed a one-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys before last season, returned in Week 5 but wasn’t the same player who recorded 26 sacks between the 2012 and 2013 seasons. He had just six sacks in 12 games for the Cowboys while continuing to be a headache off the field.
Talent protects in the #NFL. Always has. Always will. Can't miss practices, be late for meetings with 6 sacks. With 16, well…

Hardy’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, has informed NFL teams that his client is undergoing counseling, but they’re evidently not taking the bait. The 27-year-old made his bed and now he’s laying in it.
