‘Harry Potter’ Actor Josh Herdman Becomes MMA Fighter As Second Career

Josh Herdman is creating a painful and exhilarating fall-back option for himself in case his agent stops calling him with potential acting roles.

Herdman, who played Gregory Goyle in the “Harry Potter” movies, has taken up mixed martial arts as a second career, according to FOX Sports’ Damon Martin. Goyle, 28, debuted last week in the ROC: Rise of Champions series, beating Janusz Walachowski in an amateur bout in England.

Herdman reportedly has been seriously honing his MMA skills after falling in love with the sport. He plans to fight again in the future.

However, the 28-year-old isn’t giving up on his acting career for the sake of his newly found MMA passion. It might break the hearts of Crabbe and other Slytherin House members if he did.
