What do you get someone who already has it all?

That’s the question FOX Sports 1’s Katie Nolan of “Garbage Time” weighed as she tried to find a retirement gift for Boston Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz. After a long search, she’s finally come up with the perfect idea, although the present is right in the heart of New York City.

Nolan wants to dedicate a bench in Central Park to Big Papi. After all, Nolan pointed out, “Ortiz spent his career bothering Yankees fans, and his gift should, too.”

There’s one slight problem, though. Benches in Central Park cost $10,000, so Nolan is asking fans to donate at benchforbigpapi.com.

As of 2:25 p.m. ET, the Framingham, Mass., native, has raised $5,872, so she’s well on her way to making this gift idea a reality.
