Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook Go Off As Thunder Steamroll Warriors In Game 3
The Oklahoma City Thunder made mincemeat of the reigning NBA champions Sunday night, eviscerating the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of the Western Conference finals to take a 2-1 series lead.
The Thunder dominated every facet of the game, leading by 25 points at halftime and racking up 117 points in the first three quarters alone en route to a resounding 133-105 victory. It was the highest single-game point total any team has posted in this year’s NBA playoffs and tied the Thunder’s franchise record for a postseason game.

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook led the way for Oklahoma City, teaming up to score 63 points on 20-of-34 shooting before sitting out the entire fourth quarter. Westbrook also added a game-high 12 assists to go along with eight rebounds and two steals.
NBA MVP Stephen Curry struggled mightily from deep for the Warriors (3-for-11 on 3-pointers), but his night was practically excellent compared to the one teammate Draymond Green endured. The Golden State forward finished with just six points on 1-of-9 shooting in 32 minutes and posted an obscene minus-43 rating.
