Even Stephen Curry misses from time to time, but this one probably wasn’t due to bad form.
NBA commissioner Adam Silver snubbed Curry’s attempt at shaking his hand as he presented the Golden State Warriors guard with the MVP trophy on Wednesday at Oracle Arena. Curry played off the commissioner’s blank by doing a little shimmy before collecting his hardware for the second consecutive season.

The adulation of the Warriors fans at Oracle Arena seemed to be enough to ease any pain Curry might have been feeling at the time.

Curry apparently didn’t dwell on Silver’s snub for too long. He scored 29 points against the Portland Trail Blazers, including a series-clinching dagger to send his team to the Western Conference Finals.
Maybe it’s a good thing Curry was left hanging, as Silver might have cooled Curry’s hot hand before the game.
