Mookie Betts, Red Sox Can’t Break Through Against R.A. Dickey, Blue Jays

The Boston Red Sox’s offense, which has been on fire of late, only managed one unearned run off Toronto Blue Jays starter R.A. Dickey in a 5-2 loss at Fenway Park on Friday.

“He just threw a lot of strikes, kept us off balances with mixing up speeds,” Red Sox right fielder Mookie Betts said on “Red Sox Final.” “But give ourselves some credit, too, because we did hit some hard balls right at people. That’s part of it, but he did his job.”
