Rob Gronkowski Throws First-Pitch Heater To David Ortiz Before Red Sox Game
BOSTON — The Red Sox might not have made their recent string of trades had they realized they have another secret weapon waiting in the wings.
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was at Fenway Park to throw out the first pitch to his friend David Ortiz on Tuesday before the Red Sox’s series opener against the San Francisco Giants, and the 6-foot-6 tight end delivered a perfect strike right down the middle.
They shared a nice hug after.
But it was this Gronk face that really stole the spotlight.
Fortunately, Gronk kept his entire pitch arsenal a secret out there on the mound instead of letting hitters see his best stuff.
On second thought, maybe Gronk should stick to football.
