It doesn’t look like we’ll see Brock Lesnar return to the octagon for quite some time.
Brock Lesnar was temporarily suspended Tuesday by the Nevada Athletic Commission following two failed drug tests around UFC 200. It’s just the first step in the legal process for Lesnar, with a formal hearing expected at a later date.
The former UFC heavyweight champion was tested multiple times before his July 9th fight at UFC 200, and again on the night of the fight. He beat Mark Hunt by unanimous decision in the co-main event. It wasn’t until after the fight that two positive tests were revealed for anti-estrogen agents.
The 39-year-old faces fines and a potential two-year suspension. In addition the state of Nevada has the right to overturn the result of the fight, according to FOX Sports.
