Mookie Betts has powered himself into the American League MVP race with his recent tear at the plate, and his Boston Red Sox teammates and manager certainly have noticed.
The right fielder provided all of the Red Sox’s offense Tuesday in a 5-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles, and he now leads Boston with 28 home runs.
