Mookie Betts has been rewarded for his sizzling summer stretch.
Major League Baseball announced Wednesday that Betts was the American League Player of the Month for July. He’s the second Boston Red Sox player to earn AL Player of the Month honors this season, as fellow outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. won the award back in May.

This marks the first time Betts has ever won a Player of the Month award.
