The buzz surrounding the Boston Celtics is huge, and Al Horford is a big reason why
The center was the biggest free-agent acquisition in C’s history, so it should come as no surprise that coach Brad Stevens and other Celtics personnel and former/current players were asked about Horford on Wednesday at Old Sandwich Golf Club in Plymouth, Mass.
“He’s a good fit for how we play on both ends of the court,” Stevens told reporters at the Shamrock Foundation’s ninth annual Teeing Up for Kids Golf Tournament, as aired on “NESN Live,” presented by Cross Insurance. “So the basket ball stuff’s the basketball stuff. But then I think the idea that he’s won at such a high level for his whole career, and that’s what he’s driven by.”
