Chip Kelly has Colin Kaepernick’s back, whether certain media members like it or not.

The San Francisco 49ers head coach stood up for Kaepernick during a press conference Thursday, as the backup quarterback continues to protest the police killings of African-American men by kneeling during the national anthem. And that support didn’t waver when Santa Rosa Press Democrat reporter Lowell Cohn gave his own opinion on Kaepernick.

Kelly’s full comments in support of Kaepernick are worth a listen, too.
