Derrick Rose Shares Chicago Roots With New Girlfriend, Alaina Anderson

Derrick Rose is wasting no time putting his struggles behind him, both on and off the court.

The New York Knicks point guard is averaging 16.8 points per game for his new team, which currently sits eighth in the Eastern Conference with an 8-9 record entering Monday.

Rose is doing pretty well for himself off the court, as well, as he reportedly has a new girlfriend in 22-year-old Alaina Anderson, per BET.com. And who knows, maybe Rose’s revitalization on the court partly can be accredited to Anderson — who ironically hails from Chicago, where Rose spent seven seasons with the Bulls.

This is certainly a breath of fresh air for the former NBA MVP’s personal life. Rose was involved in a federal civil lawsuit to assess whether or not he and two friends sexually assaulted his former girlfriend. However, on October 19th, Rose was cleared of all charges.
