Kirk Cousins Screams Quite The Message Into Redskins GM’s Face After Win Over Packers

Move over, “YOU LIKE THAT!” There’s a new Kirk Cousins catchphrase in town.

The Washington Redskins quarterback has been known to celebrate wins rather exuberantly, becoming famous for shouting that three-word phrase after an October 2015 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

But Cousins took things to another level Sunday night. After his 375 passing yards and three touchdowns helped the Redskins beat the Green Bay Packers 42-24, the veteran QB tracked down general manager Scot McCloughan and screamed a bold message into his ear.

Tell us how you really feel, Kirk.

There’s a backstory to this outburst: Cousins and the Redskins failed to agree on a long-term contract extension this summer, with McCloughan saying he wanted the 28-year-old QB to earn his paycheck. Cousins currently is playing under a $19.9 million franchise tag.

What do you think?  Leave a comment.

The former fourth-round draft pick certainly delivered Sunday and is putting up impressive numbers for Washington, which improved to 6-3-1 on Sunday. Cousins has 17 touchdown passes to just seven interceptions and now ranks sixth in the NFL with a total QBR of 71.0.

There appeared to be no ill will from Cousins or McCloughan in this exchange, as the GM could be heard saying: “Hey, I appreciate you. That’s good stuff, man.” And as long as Cousins keeps walking the walk, the Redskins probably are fine with letting him talk the talk.
