Patriots’ Twitter Calls Out Former NFL Exec For Brazilian Plane Crash Tweet

There have been countless social media tributes for the Chapecoense soccer team, which was on a chartered flight that crashed and killed 71 passengers near near Medellin, Colombia, on Monday night.

But one former NFL PR chief took a different route.

Longtime league executive Joe Browne commented on how NFL teams might respond to such a tragedy if if it happened to them.

His tweet, understandably, led to many responses calling him out, and even an NFL team got involved.

The New England Patriots’ official Twitter account tweeted out a response to Browne, saying he made a “poor choice of words,” among other things.
