Auston Matthews Leads Maple Leafs’ Young Core Into Matchup Vs. Bruins

If a team sinks to the bottom of the standings in the NHL or any sport, it has a better chance at drafting future stars. And that’s exactly what the Toronto Maple Leafs have done.

Leading Toronto’s young core is Auston Matthews, who has 11 goals and eight assists in 25 games this season. But he’s far from the only young player opposing teams, like the Boston Bruins on Saturday, need to watch for.
