The Miami Dolphins delayed the seemingly inevitable for a little while longer.

The Matt Moore-led Dolphins crushed the lowly New York Jets 34-13 on Saturday night at MetLife Stadium, and they can technically still catch the New England Patriots in the AFC East.

But it’s not all bad news for the Patriots, though. New England can clinch its eighth consecutive AFC East title and a first-round bye with either a win or a tie Sunday in Denver against the Broncos, according to CBSSports.com’s playoff scenarios.

Kickoff Sunday at Sports Authority Field at Mile High is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET.
