Bruins’ Charlie McAvoy Finishes Great Sequence With Goal Vs. Sabres

The Boston Bruins dug themselves a deep hole Sunday against the Buffalo Sabres, but Charlie McAvoy provided a major lift to ease the damage.

After the B’s fell into an early 2-0 deficit at KeyBank Center, McAvoy cut Buffalo’s lead in half in the second period. The rookie defenseman started the rush with a smooth pass to David Pastrnak and ultimately finished the job with his sixth goal of the season.
