In a showdown between two of the Atlantic Division’s best teams, the Toronto Maple Leafs prevailed over the Boston Bruins 4-3.
With 1:24 left in the game, Maple Leafs defensemen Ron Hainsey scored a controversial go-ahead goal to give the Leafs’ a 4-3 advantage over the Bruins. The goal was reviewed for goaltender interference but eventually was allowed.
After the game, NESN’s Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley discussed the wild game at Air Canada Centre.
