Michigan State aims to take another step toward a national championship when it squares off against Syracuse in the second round of the Midwest Region on Sunday.
The No. 3 seed Spartans defeated Bucknell in Round 1, while the No. 11 seed Orange upset TCU in the first round after beating Arizona State in one of the First Four games.
The winner will play No.2 seed Duke in the Sweet 16.
