Orlando Brown Jr. Runs ‘Historically Bad’ 40-Yard Dash At NFL Combine

Orlando Brown Jr. probably wishes he stayed home for the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine.

The former Oklahoma offensive lineman posted an abysmal 40-yard-dash time of 5.86 seconds in Indianapolis on Friday. In fact, NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock said Brown’s time was “historically bad.”

Many experts project Brown to be a first-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, but he might slide down some draft boards after that showing. Still, the 21-year-old remained positive during an interview on NFL Network.

At the end of the day, a poor combine performance shouldn’t affect Brown’s stock too much. Nevertheless, the former Sooner surely is disappointed to leave such an ugly final impression on NFL teams.
