Can Keenan Evans lead the Texas Tech Red Raiders to their first Sweet 16 since 2005?
The No. 3 Red Raiders will battle the No. 6 Florida Gators on Saturday night in second-round action of the NCAA Tournament with a Sweet 16 bid on the line.
Evans and Texas Tech outlasted No. 14 Stephen F. Austin 70-60 in the first round, while the Gators cruised over No. 11 St. Bonaventure 77-62.
The winner will face the victor of Sunday’s game between No. 10 Butler and No. 2 Purdue next Friday at TD Garden in Boston.
