If Villanova wants to win its second national championship in three years, it first will have to get through one of the toughest teams left in the 2018 NCAA Tournament.
The No. 5 West Virginia Mountaineers will take on the top-seeded Wildcats in a Sweet 16 showdown Friday at TD Garden. West Virginia dominated in its first two games, taking down No. 12 Murray State and No. 13 Marshall by a combined 40 points. Villanova has been equally impressive, though, as it had no trouble rolling over both No 16 Radford and No. 9 Alabama.
