Watch Bruins’ David Backes Return To Ice After Injury — In Sweatpants

David Backes is back on the ice — and looking quite comfortable.

Just 10 days after Backes lacerated his right leg and required several stitches to close the cut, the Boston Bruins forward was seen skating in sweatpants Tuesday following the team’s morning skate.

Backes hasn’t played since March 17 and already has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game against the Winnipeg Jets. But head coach Bruce Cassidy did not rule him out for Thursday’s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The 12-year NHL veteran has 28 points through 50 games this season.
