What a day for the Hurley family.
While Dan Hurley’s Rhode Island Rams were a virtual lock to reach the NCAA Tournament by one way or the other, the same can’t be said for Hurley’s brother’s team.
Arizona State, coached by Bobby Hurley, was one of many teams on the bubble for this year’s March Madness field. But the committee chose in favor of the Sun Devils on Sunday, granting the Pac-12 team a chance to dance. And when their name was called, Dan Hurley couldn’t help but release an outpouring of emotion.

The Sun Devils will battle the Syracuse Orange Wednesday night in a first-four game for the right to face TCU, while Rhode Island takes on Oklahoma on Thursday in a first-round matchup.
