Red Sox Vs. Orioles Lineup: Hanley Ramirez Sits In Series Opener Vs. Orioles

The Boston Red Sox welcome another American League East team to Fenway Park on Friday night to kick off the first game of a four-game set.

Boston will host the Baltimore Orioles as the Sox look to continue their hot streak, winning nine of their last 10 games, including two from their AL East rival, the New York Yankees. The Orioles, however, have lost two out of their previous three games, but are coming off a 5-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Eduardo Rodriguez takes the hill for the Sox in his second start of the season. The lefty is still in search of his first win this year, coming off a start where he only went 3 2/3 innings, giving up five hits and three earned runs. On the opposing side, Chris Tillman gets the nod for Baltimore and also is looking to get into the win column for the first time in 2018. The righty only has recorded three strikeouts in 9 1/3 innings of work.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora’s lineup looks a little different than Thursday’s, with Hanley Ramirez sitting. He left Thursday’s game against the Yankees after getting drilled by a Sonny Gray fastball on the wrist.
