Jackie Bradley Jr. still can flash the leather.
The Boston Red Sox center fielder made an absolutely ridiculous catch during the second inning of the Red Sox’s game against the Miami Marlins on Tuesday night, and you absolutely have to see it.
With no outs in the inning, Marlins first baseman Justin Bour hit a laser that was ticketed for the gap in left-center field. That is, of course, if Bradley wasn’t patrolling center for Boston.
The 27-year-old got a fantastic jump on the ball and left his feet to make a tremendous diving grab.
Take a look:
Wow. What a grab.
Bradley has been scuffling at the plate to begin the season, but he once again showed that his ability to save runs with his glove is invaluable.
