Watch Sergio Garcia Hit Fifth Consecutive Ball Into Water At Masters

It was not a good first day at the Masters for 2017 reigning champion Sergio Garcia.

With his 10th shot on the 15th hole, Garcia drove the ball into the water for the fifth consecutive time. If that wasn’t bad enough, he tied the highest score on any hole at any tournament at 13.

Take a look at the tough luck:

The original record was set back in 1978 by Tommy Nakajima, who shot 13 on the 13th hole and Tom Weiskopf matched that score two years later in 1980 on the 12th hole.

Last year, Garcia defeated Justin Rose in sudden death overtime to win the green jacket.
