The Boston Bruins nearly opened the scoring early in the game Tuesday night.

With the B’s hosting the Winnipeg Jets at TD Garden, Boston just a few minutes into the first period did a nice job to force a turnover.

Because the Bruins had such good layers at the time, they were able to secure the puck off the turnover and get it moving in transition. And though they didn’t score upon entering the attacking zone, they created a pretty good opportunity.
