The New England Patriots are getting healthy for the home stretch.
One day after wide receiver Julian Edelman and outside linebacker Shilique Calhoun returned to practice from injured reserve, defensive tackle Carl Davis did the same Thursday, according to Patriots.com's Mike Dussault.
Signed off the Jacksonville Jaguars' practice squad, Davis helped shore up New England's run defense last month before suffering his second concussion of the season and landing on IR. He sat out the last three games and now is eligible to return.
It remains to be seen whether the Patriots will activate Edelman, Calhoun or Davis to the 53-man roster ahead of Sunday's Week 15 matchup with the Miami Dolphins.
Starting left tackle Isaiah Wynn also is eligible to return from IR but has yet to begin practicing.
New England had perfect attendance at practice Thursday for the second consecutive day, per Dussault.
The Patriots are practicing inside the Empower Field House this week ahead of their trip to South Florida. Due to COVID-19 protocols, only team-employed media members are permitted to attend indoor practices.
