Brown appeared to be in pain twice in Tuesday's loss
The last thing the Boston Celtics need right now is another injury, especially to a key starter.
Jaylen Brown gave fans a scare on two separate occasions in Tuesday’s loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The swingman appeared to be in pain following separate collisions in the first and fourth quarters, but never left the game.
Afterward, Brown offered a simple update on his status.
“I’m OK,” he told reporters during his postgame video press conference, per Celtics reporter Marc D’Amico.
Thank goodness.
Boston was without Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker on Tuesday due to injury. So losing Brown would have been a tough pill to swallow on top of losing to a team that previously had dropped 14 straight.
Thankfully, that does not appear to be the case.
