Joe Burrow has returned to work, and he’s sporting a new hairdo that might take over the NFL — at least on the internet.
The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback arrived to training camp Tuesday, and it wasn’t just his presence that made headlines. The 2020 No. 1 pick brought with him a jarring new hairstyle that is short — and very blond.
The Bengals tweeted out a photo of Burrow’s arrival with an appropriate caption given Burrow’s resemblance to Eminem.
It’s certainly a look! Especially for a guy like Burrow, who has a pretty decent head of hair. And while the Slim Shady jokes write themselves, we can’t rule out Burrow taking a page out of WWE champion Cody Rhodes’ playbook for this one. And maybe some Ryan Gosling as Ken in “Barbie” vibes, too? Maybe?

Eventually, the discourse will shift to the football field. It’s a big year for the Bengals. Burrow played in just 10 games last season before a wrist injury ended his campaign.
Cincinnati is doing all it can to keep its franchise QB healthy after using its 2024 first-round pick on Georgia tackle Amarius Mims while also adding a handful of skill position players through both the draft and free agency.
