D'Angelo Ortiz officially is a member of the Boston Red Sox, the organization he grew up rooting for.
Boston drafted Ortiz, the son of legendary Red Sox slugger David Ortiz, in the 19th round (No. 567) of the 2024 MLB Draft on Tuesday afternoon.
The 20-year-old jumped on social media to share his initial reaction.
