Bill Belichick did not find a new NFL home this offseason following a historic 24-year run with the New England Patriots.
The legendary head coach did reportedly have offers to join other coaching staffs, including the reigning NFC champion San Francisco 49ers.
Would Belichick address that opportunity himself? If you've watched his press conferences over the years, you probably know the answer.
During the start of his weekly appearances on the "Pat McAfee Show," the eight-time Super Bowl champion sidestepped any discussion of details in such negotiations from this offseason.

"I appreciate the question but I'm just gonna keep all the conversations that I had between any other coaches or teams or whatever, we'll keep those private," Belichick shared. "I appreciate the conversation."
Belichick was rather complimentary of 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan, who's found success in recent years by leading San Francisco to four of the last five NFC Championship Games with a pair of Super Bowl appearances.
"Kyle's great," Belichick added. "I love Kyle. I have a ton of respect for him (and) his dad. The way they've coached the game. What they've done for the game. I love Kyle and Mike Shanahan. I think they do a tremendous job."
While Belichick prepares for his first season in the media, the door certainly remains open for him to return to the sidelines.
