The Celtics announced their schedule for the 2024-25 regular season Thursday, revealing they'll kickstart their title defense against the New York Knicks on Oct. 22 at TD Garden.
Boston announced parts of the schedule on social media, with in-arena host Melisa Valdez starring in a video that highlighted some pivotal matchups.
Boston's longest homestand will last seven games between Feb. 28 and March 12, while the longest road trip will last six games that stretches from March 21 to March 31.

The Celtics will receive their 2024 NBA Finals rings and finally raise Banner against the Knicks on Oct. 22. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Doc Rivers will then lead the Milwaukee Bucks into TD Garden for the second home game of the season on Oct. 28. Steve Kerr, Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors will travel to Boston on Nov. 6, where some hostility is expected to carry over from the Olympics for the coaching decisions made by Kerr with Team USA. Marcus Smart will return on Dec. 7, perhaps playing in his first game at TD Garden as a member of the Memphis Grizzlies. The Celtics will host the Philadelphia 76ers on Christmas.
Boston will travel to California to face the Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers in January, before battling their 2024 NBA Finals opponent -- the Dallas Mavericks -- to close out the month. The C's will face seven teams -- the Utah Jazz, Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings, Phoenix Suns, New Orleans Pelicans, San Antonio Spurs and Detroit Pistons -- during their season-long road trip in March.
