The New York Jets won their season opener last year in dramatic fashion over the Buffalo Bills. They did so even after star quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending injury just four plays into his team debut.

A year later, Rodgers earned his first win in a game he played fully in with Sunday's win over the Tennessee Titans to move to 1-1 on the season. The Super Bowl XLV MVP had a humorous response when asked postgame about what his first Jets win meant to him.

"Technically my second," Rodgers joked with reporters, per SNY. "Somehow that first one counts four important plays."

The 40-year-old completed 18 of his 30 pass attempts for 176 yards and two touchdowns. Rodgers will play the New England Patriots for the first time since arriving in the AFC East to begin Week 3 on Thursday night. The four-time NFL MVP is 2-1 as a starter against the Patriots in his career, all of which came with the Green Bay Packers.
