Damar Hamlin holds one of the more unique careers in NFL history. After a near-death experience on the field in January 2023, the Buffalo Bills safety is back in a prominent role on defense this season.

Hamlin added a first in his career on Monday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars. In the second quarter in Buffalo, Hamlin slid to intercept an overthrown pass from Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence with the Bills well in control.

The catch marked the first interception of Hamlin's career. As referenced by ESPN's Adam Schefter, Hamlin's play coming on Monday Night Football is rather storybook after collapsing on the field against the Cincinnati Bengals on the same stage in January 2023.

Social media immediately picked up to commemorate a massive moment for Hamlin.
