Jack Jones once again finds himself front and center in the middle of a tumultuous situation. This time, the Raiders cornerback was ejected from Las Vegas' season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium on Sunday.

With under four minutes to play in the fourth quarter and the Chargers up by 12, a fight broke out between LA wide receiver Josh Palmer and Jones after a failed two-point conversion attempt. Even though other players joined in on the melee, only Jones and Palmer were kicked out of the game for unsportsmanlike penalties after coaches and officials regained control of the situation. Jones did not speak with the media following the game. Palmer said there is "no bad blood" between him and Jones, according to ESPN's Kris Rhim.

"It's not personal. There's no bad blood," Palmer said, per Rhim. "UFC guys beat up each other for a living, and then they go back and shake hands. Especially in football, it's nothing like that. But it's not personal at all. We just do our job as hard as we can. We're not trying to hurt anybody."

Palmer had two catches for 15 yards in the Chargers 22-10 win over the Raiders. Jones had four tackles for the Raiders in the loss. Jones is in his first full season with Las Vegas after being claimed off waivers after being released by the Patriots last year in November.

Jones put up 37 tackles and two interceptions in 12 games with the Patriots and Raiders last season. He appeared in 18 games for New England, totaling 42 tackles and two interceptions.

The AFC West teams will meet again in Week 18 at Allegiant Stadium.
