It's no secret Bruins fans hate Matthew Tkachuk with a passion, and the Florida Panthers star might make himself an even larger Boston villain when a new NHL docuseries premieres.

"Faceoff: Inside the NHL" premieres Friday on Amazon, and it's a docuseries that promises to offer a deep dive into life in the NHL as well as look at the lives of star players like David Pastrnak and William Nylander. Jeremy Swayman also starred in the series and offered insight into his contract situation during last season's Stanley Cup playoffs.

Unsurprisingly, Tkachuk starred in the series representing the reigning Stanley Cup champions. The Athletic rated its best and worst moments of the series, and it highlighted a moment between Tkachuk and Brad Marchand during the second round of last season's Stanley Cup playoffs.

"You all right? You all right? Never seen a captain quit on his team," Tkachuk said to Marchand, per The Athletic.

"Heh. Don’t even listen to that," Pastrnak told Marchand in response.

That probably has to sting for Bruins fans. The Athletic didn't make it clear when that Tkachuk quote was said, but it's likely after Marchand took a hit from Sam Bennett in Game 3. The Bruins captain missed two games before returning for Game 6, which Florida eliminated Boston in.

The jab would irk any Bruins fan since they know how hard Marchand works every night he steps on the ice. They know how often the 36-year-old fought through multiple injuries throughout his career, so a supporter of the Black and Gold might not take too kindly to Tkachuk's trash talk.

No matter when he said it, Tkachuk also seemed to find a way to needle Boston. The All-Star forward got into scuffles with the likes of former Bruins Tomáš Nosek and Linus Ullmark. In last season's playoff series, he got into it with Swayman and he brawled with Pastrnak in the closing moments of Game 2.
