Boston Bruins star Brad Marchand can trash-talk with the best of them.

And Marchand displayed that skill during a colorful pregame interview prior to Boston taking on the Pittsburgh Penguins at TD Garden on Friday.

TNT analyst Paul Bissonnette used the three offseason surgeries Marchand underwent to jokingly ask the Bruins captain if going under the knife included a hair transplant. Marchand, who at 36 years old sported a full head of hair, sure didn’t hold back with his response.

“No, but I’m just trying to look like those guys who beat the wheels off you the other night,” Marchand said with a laugh.

Marchand’s joke referred to the popular Bissonnette, who also works for Barstool Sports and played six NHL seasons, recently brawling with six men at a restaurant in Scottsdale, Ariz. The men who attacked Bissonnette were arrested on assault charges.

The hilarious chirp from Marchand landed well as he had the TNT studio analysts laughing, including Bissonnette.

Marchand has become a regular hit for those pregame interviews when TNT airs Bruins games. Marchand was even named Mr. TNT in 2023. And perhaps he has lined up a job for himself once his playing career concludes.
