Bruins fans felt the Christmas cheer from a pair of Boston teammates.
Hampus Lindholm was out of action since November but that didn’t stop the blueliner from visiting David Pastrnak and dressing up as Santa Claus for his daughter. Pastrnak posted on his Instagram story a picture and video of “Santa Hampus” gifting a present to his daughter Freya.
It’s not the first time a Bruins player dressed up as Santa Claus for another teammate’s family. Two years ago, Jeremy Swayman put on the red suit and white beard for Linus Ullmark, showing how close the goalies were.
Lindholm’s gesture for Pastrnak elevated the holiday mood for Bruins fans as the Black and Gold spent time with their families. The B’s will be back in action awaiting Pastrnak’s status for Friday’s matchup against the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena on Friday.
