The Patriots and their fans, like so many others within the football world, are pulling for Randy Moss.
Moss, who shared details about his battle with cancer earlier his month, was honored before New England’s Week 17 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday. A flag featuring Moss’ name and Patriots jersey number was raced along a Gillette Stadium sideline before kickoff, which brought the Foxboro Faithful in attendance to their feet.
The tribute didn’t go unnoticed by the legendary wide receiver, who showed his appreciation on social media.
“It’s the BIG crybaby here……..Wanna thank u all for this!!LUV IS ALWAYS IN THE AIR,” Moss posted to X.
Moss calling himself “the big crybaby” was a reference to Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony, where the six-time Pro Bowl selection was moved to tears as he received one of the loudest ovations of the evening.

So, as Moss continues his health battle, he surely can take solace in knowing countless Patriots fans all over the world are in his corner.
