Nick Pivetta will take the mound for the Red Sox in their first game following the All-Star break. Pivetta is coming off back-to-back starts with double-digit strikeouts, racking up 8 Ks in a row during his most recent start against the Oakland Athletics.

In his career, Pivetta has a 3.80 ERA against the Dodgers with 29 strikeouts in five appearances. He will look to limit a potent Los Angeles Dodgers offense that includes multiple MVP winners, but he won’t have to face Mookie Betts, who is still recovering from a fractured wrist suffered on June 16.
