Jonathan Kraft seemed to say what so many Patriots fans were thinking Sunday.

CBS cameras appeared to catch New England’s long-time owners criticizing the team’s offensive approach in its ugly road loss to the Arizona Cardinals. After Robert Kraft appeared to say, “It’s the offensive play calling” that doomed the Patriots in the desert, Jonathan seemed to respond by saying, “The play calling is terrible.”

While most members of the Foxboro Faithful probably agreed with the Week 15 sentiment, few showed support for the Krafts on social media as New England fell to 3-11 on the season.

The Krafts weren’t the only high-level Patriots who effectively took aim at Alex Van Pelt after New England’s 30-17 defeat. Even head coach Jerod Mayo essentially called out his first-year offensive coordinator for questionable decisions against the Cardinals. And on a lower scale, one Patriots wide receiver openly spoke out against the play calling against an Arizona defense that is far from vaunted.

At this point, the 2024 season can’t end soon enough for the rebuilding Patriots. But the final stretch of their campaign probably won’t go by quickly, as two of New England’s remaining three games are against the surging Buffalo Bills.
