The Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens face off for their final meeting of the regular season in Montreal on Thursday night, and each team is playing for something different. The Canadiens are currently in possession of the second wild card spot in the Eastern Conference with 79 points. The Bruins trail in dead last in the Eastern Wild Card race with 69.
The Bruins and Canadiens have had a storied rivalry, and this game is shaping up to be another high-emotion affair as the Bruins attempt to break their nine-game loss streak and the Canadiens hope to create a gap between them and the New York Rangers.
