Manager Alex Cora will roll out a different defensive alignment in the second matchup of a three-game series. Kristian Campbell start at center field for the first time in his major league career. Cora preferred Duran handling the Green Monster at left field and will have David Hamilton at second base. Connor Wong returns to the lineup after Carlos Narváez filled in at catcher. He’ll be the backstop for Richard Fitts, who lost his first start of the season.

St. Louis will start Andre Pallante, and its only change for Saturday is Pedro Pagés starting at catcher for Iván Herrera.
