A Woburn, Mass., native will get a chance to make his Boston Bruins debut.

General manager Don Sweeney announced in a press release Thursday that the Bruins recalled forward Riley Duran on an emergency basis and assigned forward Patrick Brown to Providence.

Duran recorded 12 goals and four assists for 16 points in 58 games with Providence this season. Boston drafted the 23-year-old in the sixth round of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft after he played college hockey at Providence.

The Bruins have three games left in the regular season, including a matchup against the Chicago Blackhawks at TD Garden on Thursday. You can catch full coverage of the matchup on NESN starting at 6 p.m. ET.
